Accessible Participation
Providing accessible participation and volunteer opportunities across Victorian cricket

A Sport for All

PLAYER Questions

You will have the option to have your name featured on the same picket as a representative player, be that a current or former Victorian, Renegades or Stars player, or a Victorian who has played for Australia. This includes all male and female players who have made their debut for Victoria across all formats of the game. Not all representative players will participate, but additional players may be added from time to time. Cricket Victoria retains some discretion to not accept an application or to modify your proposed name or wording.

If, following the selection of a picket with a player’s name, the player chooses to no longer be acknowledged on the picket, we will advise you of this and offer you the option to either remove your name and receive a refund or select another player for your name to be alongside.

You have the option for your name to feature on the same picket as a current or former Victorian player, or without a player’s name.

Option 1 ($500)

Your name, club or business exclusively etched into a plaque on a picket

Option 2 ($1000)

Your name alongside a current or former Victorian player

Option 3 ($5000)

Your name alongside an Australian player from Victoria

Player tiers were assigned in December 2022, however, players’ tiers have been updated as eligible or participating players have changed over time. This will continue to take place for the duration of the Pick a Picket Campaign. Once a player name has been allocated within a tier at a certain value, that value is locked in. Donors will not be asked to provide additional funds.

If you are unable to find a player and they have not already been allocated to another donor, please contact the Cricket Victoria Foundation on cvfoundation@cricketvictoria.com.au

PRODUCT Questions

All plaques will remain in place for a period of 10 years from the date your donation is processed. After the 10-year recognition period you will be offered the opportunity to renew your picket (providing the Cricket Victoria Foundation continues to run the campaign). Or if not renewing, you will be able to receive the plaque (not the actual picket) in its current state (including the impact of weather and conditions) by contacting the Cricket Victoria Foundation.

The Cricket Victoria Foundation reserves the right to remove the name of a player in its sole discretion without providing reasons. In this instance, the donor will be advised and offered the option to select another player for your chosen name to be alongside for the remainder of the original recognition period.

The Cricket Victoria Foundation will endeavour to have plaques created as soon as reasonably possible following the donation. Plaques will be ordered in bundles and donors will be sent a confirmation of completed plaque placement. Donors will be invited to come and view their plaque once it is completed.
